Fontainebleau Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, Nevada – Review

Fontainebleau Las Vegas, as of this writing, is the newest (and tallest) hotel-casino in Las Vegas (LV). While it’s considered to be “on the Strip,” it’s situated a bit farther from the main entertainment area downtown. If you’ve been to Las Vegas, you know that even if properties are right next to each other, you can easily walk 10+ minutes to get from one place to the other.

Smoke-Free Bliss

What initially drew me to this property for my recent visit was the fact that it’s smoke-free. Anyone who doesn’t like a smoky casino or gets headaches from smoke, like I do, will appreciate this hotel. This alone was a breath of fresh air – literally!

Check-In Surprise

Upon check-in, to my pleasant surprise, the receptionist asked if we wanted complimentary bottled water. This is not standard in LV. Already, this casino was winning in my book.

As a Travel Agent, I often have access to exclusive complimentary amenities that I can add to your reservation (not available if you book on your own). For this stay, I was able to add a $100 beverage credit to be used at any bar or restaurant on the property.

Comfortable Rooms

We stayed in the Bleau King room (standard king room). For a standard room, it’s spacious with a large sitting area on both sides of the bed, plus a large his and hers vanity and soaking tub. The room is a perfect retreat after a day on the Strip. (Insider Tip - rooms with south-facing windows have a view of the Sphere.)

Fridge Freedom

If you’ve been to LV before, you know that the snacks on the counter and the drinks in the fridge are all censored, so if moved, your room will be automatically charged. Another win for Fontainebleau is they have a separate usable fridge! With the scorching Vegas heat, it was nice always having cold water available.

Hydration Stations

Speaking of cold water, there are water refill stations and water fountains located at both the North and South entrances. It makes it easy to refill before heading out the door to go exploring. A thoughtful touch that enhances guest convenience!

Coffee Lovers Rejoice

There are multiple places to get coffee or tea throughout the day. The great news is, for the most part, they serve the same drinks and snacks, so the lines tend to stay short. My favorite place to get my morning coffee is on Level 2 at the Nowhere Lounge. It’s located near the elevators, and I feel not a lot of people realize they can get custom coffee drinks here as it doesn’t have the typical “café” look.

Delicious Dining Options

The Promenade Food Hall is not only attractive but also serves delicious food! Many casinos offer average/fast food options, which is fine if that’s what you’re after. But, if you’re looking for a quick, quality lunch, Fontainebleau has plenty of fantastic options to choose from.

Poolside Paradise

I visited in July, so the pool was BUSY. It may seem like there aren’t enough lounge chairs, but with a little patience, you should be able to find one. I thoroughly enjoyed their pool. They have music, but it’s not so loud that you can’t carry on a conversation. There are multiple bars, a restaurant, and even more gaming tables, making it the perfect spot to relax and have fun.

Overall, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a wonderful addition to the Strip. With its smoke-free environment, spacious rooms, thoughtful amenities, and great dining options, it’s a solid choice for anyone looking to experience Las Vegas in comfort and style.

Whether you're planning your next business trip, a weekend getaway, or a fun-filled vacation, Fontainebleau Las Vegas offers something for everyone. Its unique features and top-notch amenities make it a standout choice.
